RSS Feed button working

You should be able to see the feed button now. The image that i copied and pasted, i just got the image code (from previous post) and replaced the original code which showed the feed that was missing. It didn’t take long to do, if you have the same problem as what i had, then do the following:

1)Find the image replacement on the site, or if you can’t find it just copy and paste my feed image (i just print screened and cropped the image till i got the feed image, then saved it as a link).
2)Open the code from the site you got your feeds from, and replace the original feed image with the new image link you have saved
3)Click save- and your done!

This is the button i need, i just copied and pasted the button i need (not functioning) i’m just thinking of how i can put this image in the rss feed.. hmmmmm

Video uploading

I’ve added content to my work experience page but I’m having difficulty uploading videos from different formats. WordPress supports YouTube and Google videos to be shown on the actual page, but other formats are shown as a link to click to play. I would like to ultimately view the videos in one player for instance podcast would be a good one, but I can’t download or install that in my blog. The only way you can view the videos is by clicking on the video link where the video will be shown.

In my admin area, I have the choice to upload certain file formats including mov, wav, api, mpeg etc.

When you view the videos, they make take a while to upload.

Feed icon doesn’t appear

In my sidebar widget, the feed button has gone and comes up as shown..

At the moment i’m looking at www.toprankblog.com and searching for any replacements for the sign. It shouldnt be too hard as the image was from the website link. It appears that anyone who has used the feed icon from the site,has been deleted from there.

i added the sidebar widget to my blog incase i get any spam emails that i don’t like!! the option was there for me to add but to activate it, i configured it and selected where in the sidebar i wanted to put it. A handy little tool!

A Tiny error- can be fixed by clicking refresh

I’ve noticed when I go on to my blog, in my sidebar widget sometimes my map and snap preview doesn’t appear, and instead ’sonific songs’ and my chat appears without the map. So if your viewing my site and my sidebar has appeared without the map showing and/or snap preview, hit refresh and it should appear- it’s does the trick for me!

Chat Widget1

i changed the colours and stye around of my chat box. At first the dimentions of the box was far too big so the whole of my sidebar went a bit pearshaped and started appearing at the bottom of the page. Having changed the size-from logging into my account and resizing, the chat appeared fine. It took me some time getting use to using this widget but havng tested it the chat works fine-as long as i’m signed in so people can talk to me.

i added the chat widget at the bottom of this page. I thought i’d check them out. The option was availabe for me to drag into my side widget and i had to configure the wiget by registering, editing the style and look of the chat box. Once i configured the chat- i made an acount with meebo which is the only way the chat will work, i copied and pasted the code to the text box. This works, but personally i don’t really like the look of it lol.
ah well, its something i’ve tried and works.

More about wordpress

WordPress has given me a selection of widgets I can use in my site, as well as recommending other useful sites to get for example my slideshow and videos from. This is ok but like I’ve said many times I’m restricted to what I can and cannot do. With most of the widgets I select, I drag and drop so it fits into my sidebar. I then have to configure the details myself and I have to go through the process of signing up to the site, uploading songs videos etc. Then I have to copy the relevant coding into the widget box and have to make sure I have the right coding
