I’ve been trying to add the code to upoad an frame inside a frame, but it just don’t seem to work!!!! This is so annoying, any suggestions? this is the code, i’ve been adding to writing a new post..

it just don’t seem to work and the code i’m trying to show doesn’t even show up!! WHYYY

RSS Feed

Creating the small feeds to other sites was a matter of getting the right code to work. First i created the feeds i wanted from http://www.toprankblog.com/tools/rss-buttons/ where i got the html coding to enter in a text box widget. I dragged a new text box into the sidebar widget then copied and pasted the coding. I had problems first as the feeds didn’t appear but having changed the coding (only using the coding needed) it worked. You can see the feeds on the sidebar.

Flickr widget

I just uploaded flickr and i was confused at first. I first made my flickr account and uploaded images into my flickr account. You need to make a yahoo account first. In the flickr widget, i entered the rss feed url. I right clicked the rss button to find my url- and in properties i found my link. Following this i just copied and pasted the link into my flickr widget and it worked. The link contains the code which you need! 

Internal Server Error- my previous blog

my previous server i was with was  www.michalegrigsby.co.uk/kaila . If you click the link or view the snapshot, you can see an error message- Internal error. This occured when i was trying to upload the falbum widget for flickr. I attempted to change the coding in my server to suit the widget. But something went wrong and when i refreshed my blog and admin area, i couldn’t get back onto it! I done some research to why this happened, http://wordpress.org/support/topic/107427 and there seems to be no real answer for why. I can still access my information through FTP, but still nothing seems to work. So i given up and can’t waste time so i created this blog.

In the meantime, any suggestions and tips to fix my previous blog, then post me comments!  

Main header image change

I changed the default image theme to the one i have got now through my admin-presentation. The main thing i had to make sure i done right was the size of the image. Having created the image, i then uploaded it as a jpeg file and published the file. The image i supose its just my name but the style of font colours represent a lot about me even though its just a font.

Themes

Since i’ve made an account with wordpress, I’ve been looking at th selection of themes I can select from in my presentations folder in admin. I’ve tried the moajority of them, but I like the one you can see now. Its called freshy by jade. I should be sticking with this theme for the rest of my days.

Widgets

i’ve found using widgets are such a convienient way to add different features to my blog. I’ve been using widgets almost everywhere to put this blog together, its definately worth using.
